Swallowtail Hello

I know I'm a little bit slow but I finally bought the Swallowtail stamp after seeing a card made with a while ago IRL.  This is also my first attempt at entering a challenge - still haven't linked it yet though!  I have used the new Wink of Stella clear glitter pen (available through Stampin' Up from the 5th January 2016) for a subtle sparkle on the wings but you can't really see it in the photos.

Birthday card for a young man

I made this card a couple of months ago for our nephew who isn't so little any more which means no more cutesy cards.  Masculine cards are always a challenge for me (soooo many butterflies and flowers in my collection) so thank you to Mary Fish at stampinpretty.com for the inspiration for this CASE'd card.

Delicate Ornaments Christmas card

So it's been a long time! Due to some enforced immobility and a lot of blog surfing I have been inspired to revisit my long, looong neglected, not really started in the first place craft blog.  I will start by uploading some of my favourite already made projects until I am able to spend some quality time in my craft room.  Apologies for my photography skills - that is also something that needs work!

Due to difficulties getting around, and a general lack of festive feeling, my Christmas card making was not very inspired this year but I am a bit of a sucker for ornaments and this matching stamp & framelit set from Stampin' Up were a must have from the holiday catalogue. Gold foil always adds a special touch, and for extra sparkle (but difficult to see in photograph) I spritzed with some green and red shimmer sprays.
